PUTINSKI, Gary

1955 - 2023

Putinski, Gary Lawrence

Peacefully at Ottawa Hospital-General Campus after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Gary Putinski, age 67, beloved husband of Helen Putinski. Dear father of Kevin Putinski (Breanna), Chris Araujo (Dana), Christina (Rich Danby) and Jennifer (Rick Cooper). Loving grandfather of Owen, Dylan, Jayden, Tyler and Josh. Dear brother of Louise (Steve) and Marlene (Richard).

Gary was the definition of resilience. He was a man that never gave up in life, no matter how tough things got. He was a strong, hard-working man, that never let life get in the way of the things that made him truly happy. He always wanted to help others, regardless of any health issues he was battling. Gary was known for his love of family, fishing, music, and camping. More specifically, Gary will always be remembered as someone that made the Holiday's so special with his cooking, Summer's so entertaining with his famous BBQ's, and his overall love and joy he had for his family.

A celebration of Life will be held at the Funeral Cooperative of Ottawa on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 10 am to 12 noon. A reception will follow at Christina's home.
