How can our communities participate in green energy and the transition to a zero carbon future?
Since 2010 OREC has been mobilizing community capital to promote the transition from fossil fuels. To date it manages 28 renewable energy and energy efficiency projects and is a key co-operative player in the distributed renewable energy space in Ontario.
OREC is aiming to grow its membership and investor base and the Funeral Co-operative is pleased to provide our membership with an opportunity to learn about another co-operative rooted in social justice and committed to bringing democracy and transparency to electricity generation in our community.
