Every morning, April knocks on our doors. Let’s greet it! It brings a multitude of virus-free but joyously contagious opportunities! It offers an invitation to unite our hearts, brains and our creativity, each in our own way and each at home, to ensure our health and support our loved ones. Even in isolation, we can change the world! Despite the challenges we face, we are the privileged residents of our planet.

Ground hog days don’t exist. Each minute, each hour of every day brings a little something new that transforms us into a new being. This is what aging is all about: each moment a new beginning, somehow, a fountain of youth! Nothing can change this marvel except the end. Death. We’re not there, so instead of counting yesterday’s minutes and hours, let’s discover and celebrate today’s with their wealth of gifts and discoveries, big and small. And prepare to be a brand new person tomorrow!

Reflection #3

Some days feel like an eternity, unimaginably endless, as if we had fallen momentarily into an abyss. Well, maybe we’ve always been there without knowing! Maybe that’s what eternity is - no beginning, no end, just the passing of time. We humans have felt the need to measure time, split it up into seconds, years, centuries, epochs...this makes us feel good, gives us a grasp on..life. Like the imaginary lines we draw on maps and name “border” - they provide a feeling of safety.

Consider the limitless potential we sway if we open our minds to the possibility that we truly are in eternity, here and now: no borders, no weekends, just eternity.

Perception...sometimes more powerful than “hard facts” in mobilizing our capacity and will to dream and act.
