PAQUETTE, Joseph Pierre "Jules"
Jules’ family wish to gratefully acknowledge and thank the palliative care team and May Court Hospice for the loving care given by the doctors, nurses, support workers and volunteers and to announce his passing on January 8, 2018. He is survived by his sister Pauline Berlinguette (Gilles) and their children Therese and Paul, loving nieces Tammy, Sonia, Lisa, Liane and extended family Erwin Telles and his family. Predeceased by father Lucien, mother Germaine Leclair and siblings Raymond and Lise.
Life to Jules was an adventure to share with others and he gave generously of himself to his family and the many friends he made in his earthly travels. He will be missed by all who were touched by his humour, musical talent and caring nature.
Memorial mass will take place at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary catholic church, 320 Olmstead St., Ottawa, Ontario (Vanier sector) on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 11 am followed by a gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life at a private residence.
Private burial will take place at a later date.
Donations in his memory appreciated to the S.P.C.A. for the joy pets gave him throughout his life, or Hospice Care Ottawa, 114 Cameron Ave., Ottawa, ON K1S 0X1 for the comfort and happiness their care brought him at the end of his life.
