PHILPOTT, Audrey

Audrey Philpott, née Gee, passed away peacefully in hospital on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Wife of beloved late husband, John Philpott, dear mother to Glen (Cynthia Mannette) and Darrell (Josée Dubois), grandmother to Michael, Taylor and Morgan.

Audrey was born October 2, 1931 in Montréal. She graduated from Macdonald College and shortly thereafter moved to Ottawa where she spent all her adult life. She was a teacher for the Carleton Board of Education for many years. Audrey was always full of life, enjoyed a good party and adored her family. She and John were accomplished ballroom dancers and travelled extensively in their retirement. She spent the last five happy years at the Redwoods Retirement Residence where she reconnected with old friends and met new ones. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
