CARRIGAN, James Henry (Jim)

1954-2023

          It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim on Saturday March 25, 2023, after a valiant battle against cancer.

Jim will be remembered by his wife Suzanne, his children Cassidy and Fred, his grandchildren, Charlize and Gaby and by his best friend Adrian. He will be missed by his many friends and colleagues.

          He is predeceased by his parents Ernest and Shirley, and by his siblings, Ernie, Beatrice, and Tommy. He is survived by his siblings Crystal, Debbie, Lorena, Karen, Irene, and Steven.

          Jim loved his family, friends, his job and life. He especially loved spending time with his dog Aussie. Jim enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his friends, and chatting with anyone who would listen.

          We would like to thank the wonderful people at the Ottawa General Hospital and at Elizabeth Bruyere palliative care who cared for Jim and made his last month comfortable.

          In lieu of a service, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
