JEAN, Jocelyne

1947 - 2024

A LIFE WELL LIVED

On March 27, 2024 Jocelyne Jean, loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished sister, passed away peacefully in the city of Orléans, Ontario. Jocelyne is survived by her loving husband André of 54 years, their children Sébastien (Charlotte) and Etienne (Jennifer), grandchildren Audrée, Noémie, and Elliott and her siblings Claudette, Nicole, Danyelle, Gilles, France, Simon, and Richard.

Jocelyne was known as a generous, light-hearted, and compassionate soul. She loved the simple things in life spending time with her precious family, painting, and caring for her garden. In 1968 she graduated from Hôtel-Dieu du Sacré-Coeur de Jésus as a nurse and ran an artisanal small business for many years, making wall-hangings. As so many can attest, Jocelyne was always someone who loved to help those in need.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family and always remembered in their hearts.

We are sincerely grateful to the many friends who have given us support and comfort during this time of loss.

Service for Jocelyne will be held on May 4th, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm, EST

at the Funeral Co-operative of Ottawa
