DROLET, Maxine Patricia

DROLET, Maxine (nee McGuire) 1936 – 2015 Maxine was born on July 24, 1936 in North Bay and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital in Ottawa. Dearly beloved wife of John Drolet and loving mother to her daughters Julie (Corey Sullivan) and Natalie. Proud grandmother of Thomas and Rosalie. Predeceased by her parents, Georgina and Joseph McGuire, and her brother Tom McGuire. Maxine was a public health nurse, and graduated from the University of Toronto in 1963. She moved to Orleans in 1987 with her husband and children. She loved to read, sing and travel. The family wishes to thank the staff at Centre d'accueil Champlain for their kindness and support while Maxine participated in the day program. Family and friends are welcome to pay respects at the Annunciation of the Lord Parish (2414 Ogilvie Rd., Ottawa) on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, North Bay, in the summer. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society or Elizabeth Bruyere Foundation.
