Dear Katharine,
I remember your dear Ted just as you have described him: a humble, kind, gentle man full of energy and always willing to help anyone. He will be deeply missed .... I particularly remember a meeting at your house about affordable housing, for which Ted prepared many types of pizza - delicious. He was a warm and engaging host, with a joyful disposition, and I thought how lucky we were to be in his company. I was sad to notice some years later the beginning stages of his illnesses and to learn of its progression over recent years. I regret not to have thought to say goodbye to Ted before we moved away from Ottawa and am glad to have been able to re-connect with you during the last year on First U zoom bridge.
