Peacefully at home with his wife and son by his side on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 80 years of age.  
Beloved husband of 53 years to Cherrill (nee Cross), loving Dad to Douglas, cherished Poppa to Marshal and Delaina. Predeceased by his parents Bernice and Hector "JB" Boyer and brothers Graydon (Velma) and Holdane "Moose" (Angela). Brother of Leslie (Trudy), Neil (Sue) and Gail.

Visitation will take place at Funeral Co-operative of Ottawa, 419 St. Laurent Blvd. (near Hemlock) On Saturday June 4^th from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. Graveside celebration at Capital Memorial Gardens, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive will take place on Sunday June 5^th at 11 a.m.
