MCCURDY, ERNEST (Ernie)

April 19^th, 1960 – February 6^th, 2022

With his wife Mercy by his side Ernie went peacefully to his heavenly home. Ernie had a big heart, and a big generosity for those whose lives he touched. Born in Marville, France to Jack and Pat McCurdy (Cram) in a military family he certainly enjoyed travel and adventure being an Air Force dependant. He was the oldest of three boys. His brothers Chris McCurdy (Nellie), and Mark McCurdy (Heather), his nephew Adam McCurdy (Brenna), and his niece Amanda, along with many other friends and family will miss him greatly.  The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the excellent care he received from Elizabeth Bruyere hospitals Palliative care team.  A celebration of Ernie’s life will follow later this spring with a date yet to be announced. So very sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. He was such an example of courage and steadiness as he fought his battle with cancer. It was a great pleasure to have him on our Dilawri team all these years. He will be greatly missed!
