MCCURDY, ERNEST (Ernie)
April 19, 1960 - February 6, 2022


With his wife Mercy by his side, Ernie made his way peacefully to his heavenly home. Ernie had a big heart, and a great generosity for those whose lives he touched. Born in Marville, France to Jack and Pat McCurdy (Cram) into a military family, he certainly loved travel and adventure as he was in the Air Force. He was the oldest of three boys. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Chris McCurdy (Nellie) and Mark McCurdy (Heather), his nephew Adam McCurdy (Brenna) and his niece Amanda, as well as many other friends and family members. The family would like to sincerely thank the palliative care team at Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital for the excellent care he received. A celebration of Ernie's life will be held later this spring, on a date yet to be determined. Ottawa Funeral Cooperative. www.fco-cfo.coop

So very sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. He was such an example of courage and steadiness as he fought his battle with cancer. It was a great pleasure to have him on our Dilawri team all these years. He will be greatly missed!
