At La maison de l’Est, on April 30, 2025, at the age of 90 years and 6 months, Mr. Léonard Le Bel, husband of Carmen Marmen, son of the late Gérard Le Bel and the late Laurianne Paradis, passed away. A native of Mont-Joli, he lived in Orléans, Ontario.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Ginette (Michel Desjardins), Christine (Alvin Roy), and Éric (Chantal Breton); his grandchildren: Guillaume-Félix (Jennifer Leng), Maude (Vincent Marcotte), Élyse (Frank Séguin), Nicolas and Laurence (Raphaël Laliberté Mendoza); his great-grandchildren: Annabelle, Jules, and Léo-Michel; his brothers and sisters: Marie-Lourde, Huguette (late Denis Morisset), late Lucette (late Charles Roy), late Marcel (Claudette Lepage), and Yvan; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Marmen family: late Richard (Ruth Boucher), late Jacques (late Georgette Pearson), Monique (late Eddy Hatch), Gisèle (late Georges Bastien), Andrée (Jean Bérubé), late Ghislain (Jocelyne Gagnon), Micheline (Jean-Pierre Gagnon), Nicole (Joseph Beaulieu), Jean-Guy (Jocelyne Bouillon) and Lise (Gaby Morissette), as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

C’est avec beaucoup de tristesse que nous apprenons le décès de M. Le Bel. Nous le connaissions peu mais il est évident que c’était un homme bon, spirituel et courageux. Sincères condoléances à la famille et aux amis.
