In the ICU of the Ottawa General Hospital in the early morning of Sunday July 4, 2021, Terry McGlynn of Cornwall, aged 76 years, passed away surrounded by his loving wife Deanie McGlynn (Seguin) and children Gregg McGlynn, Jenna Gregan (McGlynn) and Katherine McGlynn. His pride and joy were his grandchildren Aidan McGlynn, Kieran McGlynn, Stella Gregan and Callum Gregan. Predeceased by his parents Vincent McGlynn and Stella McGlynn (Dubois). Survived by his loving sisters Sheila Hagen (McGlynn), Cheryl Yates (McGlynn), and brothers Wayne McGlynn, Michael McGlynn, Pat McGlynn and Robert McGlynn. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews. A link to celebrate Terry's life will be arranged and added, in the near future. In memorial donations can be made to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation. The family is ever so grateful for the generous care received.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is very hard. I found comfort, and still do, in a quote from the book Tuesdays with Morrie:
"Death ends a life, not a relationship."

I hope you find ways to continue to fuel your relationship with your father. He lives on in all your memories. Thinking of you.
