CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Funeral Co-operative of Ottawa (FCO) is seeking nominations for candidates to fill two positions on the Board of Directors. Elections for the Board will take place during the 14th Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
All members who are willing and able to put time and effort into supporting our co-operative's growth and development are invited to put their names forward. Volunteers with experience in finance, marketing, or membership development would be particularly welcome. Those interested in standing for election are asked to submit an e-mail message with a brief biographical note to the FCO office (e-mail: info@fco-cfo.coop) by Monday, April 28, 2025. In the subject line, please write “Attention: the Nominating Committee.” Nominations received after this date will not be accepted.
Please note: To serve as a director, a person must be 18 years of age or older and a member of the Funeral Co-operative of Ottawa. A member may nominate themselves or any other member to stand for election. Anyone who is an undischarged bankrupt or mentally incompetent person cannot be a director of FCO. In accordance with our by-laws, nominations will not be accepted from the floor.
