Starting Sept. 13: “Parlons-en” TV Series
FCO is starting its TV series “Parlons-en” (in French) on Rogers TV! There will be 12 interviews starting on Sept. 13, and 7:30 p.m. with re-broadcasts on the following Monday and Tuesday evenings.
This series is made possible through a grant from ACFO/Ottawa Canadian Heritage. It will cover a variety of subjects including death, forgiveness, where to get help, death of a child, bereavement among new Canadians and their families, funeral rites for Anishinaabe peoples, the importance of funeral co-operatives, challenges facing the LBGTQ community, the growing number of women entering the funeral industry, and more. There will be virtual discussions following each interview. Please join us!
