HENNIGAR, Carol
Carol Anne Hennigar - 69, originally of Halifax, passed away peacefully on November 29. She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Beatrice (Daniels) Simmons. Carol loved her family and made sure that every event was extra special. Carol enjoyed many crafts, among them knitting, sewing, and tole painting. She greatly enjoyed becoming a “Nana” and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Gary; her children Tracy (Nirmal), Kimberlea (Todd) and David (Rachael); sister, Linda; brother, James; and grandchildren, Devin, Liam and Halle. In keeping with Carol’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private memorial service will be held to celebrate her life for family members. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the ALS Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Funeral Co-operative of Ottawa.
