Christine was born in the Annapolis Valley (Nova Scotia), grew up in Montreal and, after marriage, lived near Huntingdon, Quebec where she established a reputation as an artist and a teacher. She spent her retirement years in Ottawa. Christine will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors, and former students as kind, curious, creative, and compassionate. The family sincerely thanks the staff at the former Rideau Gardens and Rideau Place Retirement Residences and LHIN caregivers for unfailing kindness and care. St. Margaret's Anglican Church community was very important to her. Given current health concerns, a public event to honor her long and lovely life will be held at a more appropriate time. Please no flowers. grew up in Montreal and, after marriage, lived near Huntingdon, Quebec where she established a reputation as an artist and a teacher. She spent her retirement years in Ottawa.
