Peacefully at home on February 25, 2021, following a two year battle with cancer, Ross joined his Saviour in eternity. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Ross will be remembered for his 28 years of service in the RCAF, his volunteering with Christian Service Brigade and Military Christian Fellowship of Canada, and his second career in IT Quality Assurance for Nortel and CSC.
Ross is preceded in death by his wife, Avril, parents Alexander and Muriel, brother, Kenneth and daughter, Catherine. Loving father of Jennifer (Sam), Stephanie, and Philip (Christine). Proud Opa to Landon, Owen, Charlotte, Nathan and David. Ross will be dearly missed by brothers Andrew (Alison) and Brian (Kimby), and his cousin Jeanne, as well as his 7 nieces and 3 nephews.
The funeral service will be held at Crosspoint Baptist Church, 3883 Navan Road, on Saturday, March 6 at 10:30 am, with visitation on Friday, March 5 from 6-8 pm.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, to attend either or both, registration is required, call Crosspoint Baptist Church at 613-830-7342. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ross’s memory to the College Scholarship Fund at Crosspoint Baptist Church.
